BPC-157 is a synthetic 15-amino-acid peptide that has been studied primarily in laboratory and animal research. “BPC-157” can refer to different chemical forms, so identifying the form matters when comparing products and research. A 2025 systematic review of BPC-157 research found that nearly all included studies were preclinical. The one human report was small, retrospective, non-topical, and did not evaluate a finished cosmetic serum comparable to this product.
An FDA scientific review published in 2026 also emphasized the limited controlled human evidence and reported that it did not identify clinical studies using a comparable transdermal route.
